BLIND DATE @The City Club Makati

James MacKay Foundation Inc. celebrated love month through a special Valentines event called the ‘Blind Date’. An experience that has a powerful message for our guests on appreciating life even more.

‘Blind Date’ in relation to the main beneficiary of the foundation, Philippine National School for the Blind (PNSB), is an event where participants experience having a meal without their sight. Known around the world the concept for high end restaurants, taking away distractions for guests to experience special cuisines made by the chefs. For us we used the concept to help spread awareness that we need to Dare to Care for people with disabilities, most especially the visually impaired.

With this our outcome was a success, our guests were thrilled and amazed by the experience. It was definitely a fulfilment and eye opener to all on how beyond blessed we all are. Our students whom serenaded the guests also extended their appreciation and expressed how happy they are to support their dreams.

We would like to extend our gratitude to all the guests that participated, Mr Joey Garcia from Ramen Metro, Mr. Nic Belascofrom The City Club, The Parenting Emporium, Mrs Lina Dela Cruz of Liquid Gold and Ms. Mildred Damole of Philippine Wine Merchants for supporting us. The foundation and Philippine National School for the Blind express our gratitude on making the event a success.
